Who we are

ThreadStart, based in the UK, runs this early access list and decides how your details are used. Questions or requests go to hello@threadstartai.com.

What we collect when you join

• Your email address.
• Where you came from: a short tag from the link you tapped (for example, a link in an Instagram bio) or an invite code if a friend sent you.
• Your answers to “what’s stopping you right now?” and “where’s your brand at?”, if you choose to answer them.
• Your brand’s Instagram handle, if you choose to add it.
• Your country, worked out from your connection at the moment you sign up. We don’t store your IP address; for spam prevention we keep a scrambled version of it, which can’t be reversed, for 24 hours.

If you join the creatives list

We collect your email address, what you do (for example model or photographer), your Instagram handle, your city and your country, plus the same link tag and spam protection as above. We use it to tell you when Creative Connect opens and to understand which creatives are near which brands. We won’t pass your details to brands without asking you first.

If you send us a message

The contact form sends your name, email address and message straight to our inbox so we can reply. It isn’t added to the list.

What we use it for

• To send you a confirmation now and an invitation when your spot opens.
• To decide who to let in first, and to understand which kinds of brands want ThreadStart.
• To keep bots off the list.

We rely on your consent, which you give by joining. We don’t sell your details, and we don’t use them for anything unrelated to ThreadStart.

Who handles it for us

The list is stored with Supabase, this site is hosted on Vercel, and emails are sent through Resend. They process your details only on our instructions. Some of them are based outside the UK, in which case your details are protected by the standard contractual safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

Until ThreadStart has opened and you’ve had your invitation, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can leave the list, see what we hold about you, or have it corrected or deleted at any time. Reply to any email from us or write to hello@threadstartai.com. If you’re in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn’t identify you. Your browser remembers that you’ve joined, and your invite code, so the page can show your founding pass when you come back. That stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.
